Piedmont Classical has gone 4-0 against Cornerstone Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Piedmont Classical Bobcats duke it out with the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Piedmont Classical is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.7 points per game this season.
Last Friday, Piedmont Classical lost to Carver on the road by a 68-52 margin.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jayden McCullum, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Bryson Motley was another key player, going 5 of 11 on his way to 12 points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Piedmont Classical was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carver only racked up ten assists.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 76-48, which was the final score in Cornerstone Charter's tilt against Winston-Salem Prep on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while the Phoenix are ranked 139th).
Like Piedmont Classical, Cornerstone Charter lost despite seeing results from several players. Lake Bristol led the charge by going 8 of 12 on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Walker, who had 12 points and three steals.
Piedmont Classical's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Cornerstone Charter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Piedmont Classical has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27 boards per game. However, it's not like Cornerstone Charter struggles in that department as they've been averaging 31.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Piedmont Classical was able to grind out a solid victory over Cornerstone Charter in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 44-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Piedmont Classical since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
