Soccer Recap: Snowflake Comes Up Short

Snowflake had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Chaparral Cowboys on Friday, falling 5-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Snowflake of the 6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2018.

The victory made it two in a row for Chaparral and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Looking ahead, Snowflake is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Madison Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Chaparral, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 7-0 win against North Valley Christian Academy on the 22nd.
