Volleyball Recap: Gilman Takes a Loss

Gilman suffered their biggest loss since October 8, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Abbotsford Falcons, falling 3-0. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Gilman took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-17.

Gilman's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Abbotsford, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Coming up, Gilman will head out to face off against Prentice at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Abbotsford, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Athens at 7:00 p.m.
