Volleyball Recap: Washington Takes a Loss

Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Grinnell Tigers. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Tigers when the teams met back in August of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Grinnell, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Wahlert on the 13th. As for Grinnell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Regina on the 13th.
