It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Friendly had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Patriots who were credited with the victory. The Friendly Patriots got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Surrattsville Hornets's zero. Winning may never get old, but Friendly sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Gideon Darko, who's now up to five this season.

Friendly's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Surrattsville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9-1 record this season.

Friendly didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Crossland on the 24th. Surrattsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
