Meanwhile, Meigs County entered their tilt with Brainerd two weeks ago with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 65-6 win over the Panthers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Panthers are ranked 285th).

Meigs County's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Scott, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
