Soccer Game Preview: Roybal vs. Bernstein

The Roybal Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Bernstein Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roybal is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season.

Roybal lost 4-1 to Robert F. Kennedy Community on Friday.

Roybal's goal came courtesy of Ivan Ceballos, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in December of 2024, Bernstein was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. Neither they nor Mendez could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 3-3 draw.

With that draw, Bernstein's record moves to 9-4-2. As for Roybal, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3.

Roybal might still be hurting after the 5-2 defeat they got from Bernstein in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Roybal was down 3-0.
