Elyria Catholic strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Maumee as they made off with a 7-1 victory. Considering Elyria Catholic has won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Nadia Pagan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Brooks, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Elyria Catholic pushed their record up to 15-0 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Maumee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

Elyria Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 20-0 win against Lake Catholic on the 28th. Maumee has also already played their next match (against Mathews), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
