Basketball Game Preview: South Aiken Thoroughbreds vs. Airport Eagles

South Aiken is 2-8 against Airport since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The South Aiken Thoroughbreds will head out to square off against the Airport Eagles at 6:00 p.m. South Aiken is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, South Aiken beat Brookland-Cayce 41-37.

Meanwhile, Airport was able to grind out a solid win over Brookland-Cayce on Saturday, taking the game 48-41.

Airport's record is now 11-8. As for South Aiken, they pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

South Aiken came up short against Airport in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 29-23. Can South Aiken avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
