Basketball Recap: Southridge Takes a Loss

Southridge lost against Kamiakin back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Southridge Suns fell 60-50 to the Kamiakin Braves. The Suns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southridge's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Kamiakin, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southridge will welcome Kennewick at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kennewick knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Southridge likes a good challenge. As for Kamiakin, they will challenge Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richland will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Kamiakin surely won't give up without a fight.
