Softball Recap: Windham RVT Comes Up Short

Windham RVT scored first but ultimately less than Wilcox RVT in their matchup on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Indian by a score of 7-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Indian this season, with their most recent loss being a 7-6 defeat back in April.

Genna Sargent was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Danika Connors also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Windham RVT and nudges their season record down to 10-8. As for Wilcox RVT, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

As of now, neither Windham RVT nor the Indian have any future games scheduled.
