Basketball Recap: West Iron County Comes Up Short

West Iron County lost against Calumet back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The West Iron County Wykons were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 39-38 to the Calumet Copper Kings. The Wykons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Iron County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Calumet, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

Coincidentally, West Iron County and Calumet will both be playing Westwood the next time they take the court. West Iron County will head out to face Westwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Calumet will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
