Soccer Game Preview: Crandall vs. Midlothian Heritage

The Crandall Pirates will face off against the Midlothian Heritage Jaguars at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Crandall managed to keep up with Kaufman until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Crandall came up short against Kaufman, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 449th, while the Lions are ranked 182nd).

Meanwhile, Midlothian Heritage kept a clean sheet against Corsicana on Friday. Everything went their way against the Tigers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Considering the Jaguars have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Midlothian Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those eight games. Crandall dropped their record down to 7-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
