Basketball Game Preview: Cassopolis Rangers vs. Bloomingdale Cardinals

Cassopolis is 10-0 against Bloomingdale since December of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cassopolis Rangers will welcome the Bloomingdale Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Cassopolis is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Cassopolis got the win against Decatur by a conclusive 58-34. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

Cassopolis can attribute much of their success to Lucas Williams, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine steals, and Tre Peterson Evans, who posted 15 points and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Peterson Evans a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Ayden Gillam, who earned six points along with seven assists and five boards.

Meanwhile, Bloomingdale earned a 52-40 win over Martin on Monday.

Cassopolis' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bloomingdale, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Everything came up roses for Cassopolis against Bloomingdale when the teams last played back in February, as the squad secured a 66-20 win. In that match, Cassopolis amassed a halftime lead of 42-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
