Soccer Recap: Declo Comes Up Short

Declo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Minico Spartans. If Declo were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Minico when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Declo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Minico, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Declo will head out to face off against Buhl at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Minico, they will take on Mountain Home at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Minico will be up against Mountain Home's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.44 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
