Basketball Recap: Frankfort Hot Dogs vs. Hamilton Heights Huskies
Frankfort lost against Hamilton Heights back in February of 2020 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Frankfort Hot Dogs had to suffer through a 76-30 loss at the hands of the Hamilton Heights Huskies. The Hot Dogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-9.
Despite the loss, Frankfort still got an impressive performance from Jayden McBee, who posted six points. McBee continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Rees Knapp was a one-man wrecking crew for Hamilton Heights as he went 7 of 8 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Knapp a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Champion, who scored four points in addition to five assists and five steals.
Frankfort's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Hamilton Heights, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.
