Volleyball Recap: Compton Early College Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Compton Early College hadn't done well against Animo Leadership recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rising Phoenix narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Aztec Eagles 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rising Phoenix have posted since August 23, 2024.

Compton Early College got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 28-30, 21-25, 25-17, 15-5.
