Volleyball Game Preview: Jamestown Eagles vs. Grafton Clippers + How To Watch

Jamestown is 0-10 against Grafton since November of 2019 but things could change on Monday. The Eagles will take on the Clippers at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Jamestown earned a 3-1 victory over Gloucester.

Jamestown walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 23-25, 25-6.

Kira Van Deusen and Bahar Stump were among the main playmakers for Jamestown as the former had 29 digs and three aces and the latter had nine aces and three digs. With that strong performance, Stump is now averaging an impressive 13.5 assists per game. Another player making a difference was Peyton Tilley, who had five digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Jamestown was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 22 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Meanwhile, Grafton put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on York with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Jamestown's record now sits at 8-3. As for Grafton, their record is now 11-0.

Jamestown suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Grafton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
