It's playoff time, and Palmetto Ridge had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over the Gateway Eagles on Friday. Considering the Bears have won six matchups by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Gateway with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Addison Johnson (2), Mariana Barrera, Felicity Igot, and Julia Fernandes.

Palmetto Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those ten contests. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9-2.

Palmetto Ridge will challenge Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palmetto Ridge will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Gateway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
