After a string of 21 wins, Cabot's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bentonville West Wolverines. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Bentonville West's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Olivia Hamm, who had 15 assists and four digs. Laney Chilton was another key player, getting seven digs and three aces.

Cabot's defeat dropped their record down to 28-2. As for Bentonville West, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Cabot will head out on the road to challenge Bryant at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bentonville West, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Conway on the 11th.
