Volleyball Recap: Palo Verde Falls Short Against Ranked West Ranch

Palo Verde is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of West Ranch. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palo Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for West Ranch, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season.

Palo Verde will face off against Arbor View at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Ranch, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Hart on the 21st.
