Volleyball Recap: Chaminade Comes Up Short

Chaminade was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Ladue Horton Watkins Rams, falling 3-0. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Hector Lopez Rovira paced Chaminade's offense, picking up eight kills. Lopez Rovira got some help from Alex Temporiti and his 19 assists. Finally, Temporiti was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Chaminade's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5-2.

Coming up, Chaminade will challenge Vianney at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ladue Horton Watkins, they will square off against Bishop DuBourg at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
