South Lyon came tearing into Saturday's matchup with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mott Corsairs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Kennedy Duncan paced South Lyon's offense, picking up eight kills. Duncan got some help from Lucy Stoll and her 14 assists. Player #16 controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

South Lyon's victory bumped their record up to 33-8. As for Mott, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

South Lyon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Walled Lake Western on the 25th. As for Mott, they are taking a road trip to face off against Clawson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
