Jones Brandon and Hayden Kuchta provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Exeter. The longest such play in South Sequoia this season, the connection resulted in 53 yards.
Wasco was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to second in the league. The Tigers vanquished Golden Valley 48-6 earlier in the week.
Bakersfield Christian's dynamic duo of Brandon and Josh Jackson proved to be unstoppable against the Monarchs, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Brandon threw for 227 yards and 4 touchdowns and Jackson had 100 yards receiving. Kuchta helped Bakersfield Christian's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 89 yards.
The Eagles' dynamic duo of Brandon and Jackson proved tough for Exeter to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Eddie Romo was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 150 yards on 24 carries as Taft defeated Ben White's team. Joseph Sanchez also contributed to the rushing game with 54 yards on the ground.

Brandon has thrown for 504 yards this season, while Kuchta, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 15 catches for 153 yards. Romo from the Wildcats leads the league in rushing with 402 yards.
As it stands, the Eagles are in seventh, while Chavez is in first.
Bakersfield Christian scaled the state rankings by moving to 396 from 519 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Monarchs 48-22.
