Granada won the last time they faced College Park and things went their way on Saturday too. The Matadors came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 7-2.

Granada got a great performance from Kamryn Brannon as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Brannon has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Delaney Aumua, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Maddie Bittman, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Granada lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. They are 4-1 when they post two or more home runs.

Granada's record now sits at 8-6. As for College Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Granada didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-4 victory against Alameda on the 12th. As for College Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Archbishop Mitty on the 12th.
