Trevor Brooks posted a new career-low in earned runs on Tuesday. He was dynamite, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
