Basketball Recap: Modoc Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Modoc lost to Trinity two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Modoc Braves came out on top against the Trinity Wolves by a score of 53-46.

Adin Benson was nothing short of spectacular: he dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chris Guasp, who posted nine points.

Trinity lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Taylor Rhein, who scored 21 points and seven boards. The dominant performance gave Rhein a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryker Robles, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 rebounds.

Modoc's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-11. As for Trinity, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

Modoc will head out to take on Weed at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Weed will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Modoc surely won't give up without a fight. As for Trinity, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-41 defeat against St. Bernard's on the 1st.
