Bayless lost to Granite City back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bronchos walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors.

While Bayless won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22.

Bayless has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Granite City, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Bayless will square off against St. Pius X at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bronchos surely won't give up without a fight. As for Granite City, they will challenge Collinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Kahoks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight.
