Softball Recap: Harrisonburg Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Harrisonburg blew Calvin out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Calvin got their revenge. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 11-9. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 14-7.

Harrisonburg's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7. As for Calvin, they moved to 11-12 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrisonburg will square off against LaSalle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvin, they will challenge Dodson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season.
