Basketball Recap: Granite City's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Granite City can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They managed a 36-31 victory over the Greenfield/Northwestern Tigers. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 48-26 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Granite City's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

Granite City will take on Beardstown in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Greenfield/Northwestern, they will square off against North Greene at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
