East has gone 6-1 against Skyline recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Leopards will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

East is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 70-27 victory over Juan Diego Catholic. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Leopards.

Meanwhile, Skyline blew past Cottonwood, posting a 62-17 win. Considering the Eagles have won four matchups by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

East better keep an eye on Xavier Cocci. He was instrumental in Skyline's win, throwing for 235 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 passes, while also rushing for 52 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. Another player making a difference was Jonah Mailei, who gained 88 total yards and three touchdowns.

Skyline didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mailei and Liam Whitworth. Mailei got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Skyline's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for East, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
