Football Recap: Pompano Beach Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Matthew Haydar and Ayden Jaouhar

Pompano Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Coral Springs Charter Panthers, falling 41-18. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Tornadoes of the 30-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Pompano Beach's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ayden Jaouhar, who rushed for 85 yards and one touchdown, and Matthew Haydar, who rushed for 55 yards and one score.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run

Pompano Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Coral Springs Charter, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

The Lions' defense has only allowed 11.2 points per game this season, so the Golden Tornadoes' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Coral Springs Charter, they will welcome Taravella at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
