Softball Recap: Hiwassee Dam Eagles vs. Cherokee Braves

After flying high against Andrews last Monday, Hiwassee Dam came back down to earth. The Hiwassee Dam Eagles fell just short of the Cherokee Braves by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. Hiwassee Dam was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cherokee apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Olivia McNabb was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.
