Softball Game Preview: Rocori Spartans vs. Detroit Lakes Lakers

The Rocori Spartans will square off against the Detroit Lakes Lakers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rocori has three straight victories, Detroit Lakes has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Rocori's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Fergus Falls as they made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Spartans have won four contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Sauk Rapids-Rice hit Detroit Lakes with a ten-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lakers lost 18-4 to the Storm.
