Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Comes Up Short

Sacred Heart was the 37-31 winner over Southeast of Saline when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sacred Heart Knights fell 43-31 to the Southeast of Saline Trojans on Monday.

Sacred Heart's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-4-1. As for Southeast of Saline, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Sacred Heart has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Republic County on the 14th. As for Southeast of Saline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-19 victory against Lyons on the 14th.
