Basketball Recap: David Emanuel Academy Takes a Loss

David Emanuel Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They took a blow against the Pinewood Christian Patriots, falling 48-21. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-18 back in December of 2024.

David Emanuel Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kyli Bell, who posted six points in addition to six boards and five steals. Bell is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Williams, who had four points and five rebounds.
