Volleyball Recap: Pembine/Goodman Panthers vs. Southern Door Eagles
Pembine/Goodman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southern Door Eagles. Considering the last time the Panthers couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.
Southern Door can attribute much of their success to Alanna Paye, who had 15 digs and three aces. Paye is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.
Pembine/Goodman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Southern Door, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-11 record this season.
