It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Macon County had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 50-31 win over the Manchester Blue Devils. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on 13 straight.

It was another big night for Morgan Cochran, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 blocks per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliyah Lake, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 11 points and six boards.

Macon County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Macon County pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Manchester, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Coming up, Macon County will face off against Bryan County on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Cochran and Jasmine Mikell. Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
