On Wednesday Izzy Alexander posted 16 points in addition to five assists and five steals, good enough to set a new career-high in assists in the process. As if that's not impressive enough, the contest was her fifth in a row with two or more steals. For the year, she has averaged 12.1 points and 3.2 steals.

Alexander and La Costa Canyon will challenge Carlsbad at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Alexander's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped La Costa Canyon's eight-game streak of wins on the road.
