Recap: Morrice Orioles vs. New Standard Academy Spartans
The Morrice Orioles can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They breezed by New Standard Academy at home to the tune of 60-24. That's another feather in the cap for Morrice, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Aubrey Rogers, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Goodine, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Morrice's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for New Standard Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Morrice will face off against Genesee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Standard Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against International Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
