Basketball Recap: Kahmron Hill Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Franklin

It was a proper cat-fight when University challenged Franklin on Friday. The University Wildcats managed a 52-48 victory over the Franklin Panthers. While the Wildcats didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-20), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

University got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kahmron Hill out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 19 boards. Hill is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 13 or more in the last five games he's played. Orpheu Cummings was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 14 points.

University's record now sits at 7-4. As for Franklin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

University has already played their next game, a 66-54 victory against Sylmar on the 4th. As for Franklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-58 win against Kennedy on the 4th.
