Buckhannon-Upshur can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They put the hurt on the Elkins Tigers with a sharp 12-1 victory. The Buccaneers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29th (when they won 12-1).

Landon Marple and Jerin Westfall did most of the damage at the plate: Marple went a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI and two doubles, while Westfall went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Marple has posted over his last ten matchups. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Spratt, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Buckhannon-Upshur was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .522. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive contests.
