Basketball Game Preview: Griswold Tigers vs. Riverside Bulldogs

Griswold hasn't had much luck against Riverside recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Griswold Tigers will take on the Riverside Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Griswold is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points on Monday, they were much more limited against Stanton on Tuesday. They were beaten by the Vikings 54-25. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Riverside suffered their biggest loss since December 5, 2023 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Underwood and fell 71-44. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Griswold now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Griswold was taken down by Riverside 75-39 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Griswold avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
