Football Recap: Navarre Starts Season with Win at Home

Navarre took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Wednesday. They blew past the Pensacola Tigers, posting a 67-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Navarre's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Nevaeh Hubbard and Lila Geus, who racked up all six sacks between them. Those four sacks gave Hubbard a new career-high.

Navarre wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-0 win against Crestview on the 20th. Pensacola has also already played their next game (against Destin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
