Baseball Recap: Norwalk Takes a Loss

Norwalk has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.53 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came up short against the Lexington Minutemen, falling 10-4. The Truckers have struggled against the Minutemen recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Norwalk's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Lexington, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwalk will square off against Ross at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lexington, they will venture away from home to take on New Philadelphia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Quakers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Minutemen's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
