The home team had won the previous four meetings between Magdalena and Reserve, and Magdalena kept the tradition alive. The Steers walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mountaineers on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Steers: when they faced off against the Mountaineers two weeks ago, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The victory didn't come easy: Reserve scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 24-26, 25-19, 25-21.

Magdalena's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Reserve, they moved to 11-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Magdalena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reserve, they will square off against Quemado at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
