Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central and Glencoe-Silver Lake squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Central had to settle for second. They fell 4-1 to the Panthers. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Libby Hoen, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Glencoe-Silver Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13.

As of now, neither Central nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
