Basketball Game Preview: Swink Lions vs. Fowler Grizzlies

The Swink Lions will challenge the Fowler Grizzlies at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Swink came up short against Las Animas and fell 47-39.

Despite the loss, Swink saw an underclassman step up: freshman Laney James posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Miley James, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, Fowler lost 49-24 to Hoehne on Friday. The Grizzlies have struggled against the Farmers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Fowler's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Swink, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Swink beat Fowler 43-34 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Swink repeat their success, or does Fowler have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
