Cloverdale put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the St. Bernard's Crusaders. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Emerson Reasoner was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Cloverdale's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Cloverdale didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-5 victory against Fortuna on the 15th. As for St. Bernard's, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-12 loss against Berean Christian on the 15th.
