Sussex Tech hadn't done well against Delmar recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Ravens blew past the Wildcats 28-7. Considering the Ravens have won six games by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Sussex Tech and bumps their season record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 13 points in those games. As for Delmar, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sussex Tech will host Indian River on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Ravens 12.7, the Indians 10.7) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Delmar, they will be playing at home against Woodbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
